Resolution Clock

Ray Linsley has issued a formal statement that he and other representatives of the Australian School of Meditation and Yoga have made attempts to extend an invitation of mediation with the creators of this site and ASMY. To show that this invitation was not received and that we are willing to enter mediation we have set up a clock to time how long it will take for ASMY to show they are serious about this offer. read more...

"Representatives from the Australian School of Meditation have invited both these individuals to participate in independent mediation sessions to resolve this issue however all attempts have been rejected by complainants." - Formal written statement to the media attributed to Ray Linsley (aka Radha Krishna das) of ASMY

This site is created by former members of Australian School of Meditation and Yoga who have been through the experience of believing that ASMY is something that it is not - because we were deceived and manipulated by a pattern of recruitment typical of groups which become recognised as cults. The information here can take many years to become aware of as a student of ASMY. We aim to make this information available as part of advocating for informed consent and freedom from coercive tactics.

Australian School of Meditation and Yoga uses coercive techniques, including 'bait and switch' - projecting an image of teaching meditation and yoga as a charitable intiative, and then gradually revealing their true nature and purpose. ASMY also has a destructive impact on the lives of their members by depriving them of informed consent in participating in meditation and yoga techniques that can damage physical and mental health, assuming control over every aspect of their members lives - breaking up families and friendships, insisting that you work for a cult business or in 'devotional service' (free labour) and give all of your money to a guru that you are never likely to meet. This is what ASMY refer to as the 'yoga lifestyle'. As far as Australian School of Meditation and Yoga are concerned you MUST do this in order to become 'purified' and be 'liberated'. If you question or reject their teachings once they are revealed, even in private, you become an 'animal' or a 'demon' and targetted as 'offensive'.
